T-Mobile Fiber Home Internet Launches With Five-Year Price Guarantee

T-Mobile Fiber Home Internet will launch on Thursday, according to the carrier.

The offering will be available to more than half a million homes across the country. The service, which the press release couples with The T-Mobile 5G Home Internet fixed wireless access (FWA) platform, will offer a five-year price guarantee, unlimited data, and symmetrical uploads/downloads. T-Mobile also says there will be no monthly equipment fees, installation charges or annual contracts.

“Our new plans, backed by long-term price guarantees, are designed to give customers more choice and peace of mind,” Chief Broadband Officer Allan Samson said in a press release about T-Mobile Fiber Home Internet. “[W]e’re just getting started. As the fastest growing broadband provider in the country, we’ll keep expanding T-Mobile Fiber to reach more communities and find ways to pack more value into our plans.”

The T-Mobile Fiber Home Internet plans include:

  • Fiber 500: Equipment is included; there are no data caps and no annual contracts. Available for $60/month with autopay and a T-Mobile voice line or $75/month with autopay.
  • Fiber 1 Gig: Comes with everything included in Fiber 500 and whole-home Wi-Fi with mesh devices. The monthly cost is $75 autopay and a T-Mobile voice line or $90 per month alone with autopay.
  • Fiber 2 Gig: Comes with everything included in Fiber 1 Gig. The monthly cost is $90 autopay and a T-Mobile voice line or $105 alone with autopay.

The carrier is also promoting a limited-time, limited location Founders Club offer of the T-Mobile Fiber Home Internet 2 Gig plan service with a monthly cost of $70 per month with autopay and no voice line requirement. The plan includes a 10-year price guarantee.

Last September, the carrier said it expected partnerships to enable it to pass between 12 million and 15 million additional households with fiber by 2030. The partnerships include a joint venture with investment firm EQT that acquired Lumos and a joint venture with KKR to acquire Metronet.
