Cable One brand Sparklight has introduced two new plans — one of which includes two speed options — that are now available in most of its footprint, which extends to more than one million subscribers in 24 states.
The FlexConnect plan offers two speed options: 300 Mbps for $45 per month and 600 Mbps for $75 per month. This plan was developed for “flexibility, transparency, and ease,” and the company’s announcement says the plan is free of “deposits, long-term contracts, or surprise fees.”
The other new Sparklight plan, Lift Internet, is priced at $29.95 per month. This plan includes a free modem, free standard installation, and does not require a credit check if the families qualify through federal assistance programs. A representative from Sparklight told Telecompetitor that the plan offers 200/20 Mbps speeds.
“Customers tell us they want truly reliable service that performs consistently, day after day, with straightforward pricing and the ability to make changes as their needs evolve,” Tony Mokry, Senior Vice President of Residential Services, said in the announcement of the new Sparklight plans.
“We developed FlexConnect by listening to what our neighbors need from their home internet provider. Unlike 5G internet, which may slow down or deprioritize home users during peak times, FlexConnect delivers guaranteed speeds on a dedicated network that puts our customers first — ensuring dependable performance when it matters most.”
Cable One/Sparklight finished tenth among providers in CableTV.com’s 2025 Internet Customer Satisfaction Awards, which was released late last year. The service provider had a customer satisfaction rating of 70%. Starlink, at 94%, had the highest score.
In late November 2022, Sparklight said that its plans for a $10 million upgrade to Rio Rancho, New Mexico were on track and were slated to be completed by the spring of 2023.
Cable One rebranded as Sparklight in 2019.
