Moss Adams and Warriner, Gesinger and Associates to Merge

Moss Adams LLP announced that Warriner, Gesinger and Associates (WGA) LLC will join their operations, effective September 1, 2011. Moss Adams has 21 offices and 1,700 employees, with 220 partners. WGA is a consulting firm focused both on cost separations studies and access tariffs, and regulatory consulting, with a client base primarily of independent telcos.

“With the combination, Moss Adams, the 11th largest accounting and consulting firm in the nation, expands its existing telecom-industry service and establishes a physical presence in the Midwest, giving telecom-industry clients and prospects deeper expertise and more convenient access to the firms experienced assurance, tax, and consulting professionals,” said Moss Adams in a press release announcing the merger.

The merger follows a trend of M&A activity, both among carriers and the suppliers, consultants, and vendors who serve them. WGA principals Bill Warriner and Jarret Rea will join Moss Adams as partners, and Andrew Denzer will join as a director, along with WGA’s existing staff.
