CCA Partners with DCS To Provide MiFleet Solutions for Carrier Members

Washington, DC – August 14, 2019 – Competitive Carriers Association (“CCA”) today announced a strategic partnership with Direct Communication Solutions (“DCS”) to deliver turnkey 4G LTE Internet of Things (“IoT”) Fleet Management and Asset Tracking solutions (“MiFleet”) for CCA carrier members.  MiFleet powered by DCS is a fully managed fleet and asset tracking solution.  Carriers utilizing the service will become IoT ready immediately to help drive new activations, add monthly recurring Software-as-a-Service subscription revenues, and increase ARPU with consumers, SMB and enterprise accounts.

Through the DCS partnership, CCA carrier members will have the opportunity to offer best-in-class, innovative 4G LTE IoT solutions to their customers without having to invest in hardware, software or resources to develop and/or deploy technology.  MiFleet powered by DCS manages the complexities in delivering network-ready 4G LTE hardware, a customized software platform and a mobile app, in addition to a sales training model to ensure immediate success.

Steven K. Berry, President & CEO of CCA said, “CCA is pleased to partner with DCS to provide carrier members with turnkey 4G LTE fleet management and asset tracking solutions.  IoT presents many opportunities for rural carriers to drive new revenue to their businesses, and the goal is to help smaller carriers become IoT ready without high upfront costs, so they can effectively support their SMB and enterprise customers.  We are delighted to partner with MiFleet powered by DCS to deliver IoT readiness for carrier members.”

“We have long recognized the rural carrier members as an underserved market that deserve to offer their customers best-in-class, end-to-end cloud-based platform IoT solutions,” stated Chris Bursey, Chief Executive Officer of DCS. “Our goal is to deliver simple, network-ready, turnkey 4G IoT solutions that allow rural carriers to become immediately IoT ready and compete on a level playing field with Tier 1 carriers, driving new activation subscription revenue.”
