Iowa Provider Updates Back Office Software to Support Expected Growth

Elk Horn, IA – Marne Elk Horn has converted to the eLation Billing & Subscriber Management platform. The Iowa provider serves 3,843 customers across 13 communities and 655 miles of service area. They have secured $5.07 million in grant funding to fuel Broadband growth and reach more of the surrounding communities. The eLation platform offers a full suite of features that support this growth while allowing Marne Elk Horn to optimize staff resources.

Rachel Hamilton, Marne Elk Horn Chief Executive Officer, highlighted benefits of eLation: “The key attributes of the billing and financial software that have provided value to our company are automation, synchronization, and online mapping. Each of these are valuable in our operation for very specific purposes. We are realizing increased productivity and efficiency with our employees and more importantly have provided our customers some immediate controls to manage their services outside regular business hours.”

Nathan Knuth, VP Engineering at Innovative Systems said of the conversion “Innovative Systems is proud to support Marne in their effort to deliver the highest quality communications service to their customers, enhanced by the eLation platform. It has been tremendously gratifying to help a customer transition from paper maps to our eMap mapping system, and to witness the value it has added to their operations in terms of accuracy and efficiency.”
