NTIA has allocated $405M in BEAD funding to Nebraska.
About
The Nebraska Broadband Bridge Program (NBBP) uses state funds to award competitive grants for broadband infrastructure in unserved (Lacking 25/3 Mbps) and underserved (Lacking 100/20) areas of the state. It awards up to $20 million annually in grant funds.
The Capital Projects Fund (CPF) grant program uses a similar process to the NBBP for awarding competitive grants, but uses federal funds to support the program. The Nebraska Legislature determined that grant awards for broadband through the CPF would go to eligible areas in US Congressional Districts 1 and 3.
