Press Release

BOULDER, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ZAYO) today announced it has achieved Carrier Ethernet 2.0 certification from the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF), the global body that oversees standards for carrier grade, interoperable Ethernet. The certification strengthens Zayo’s ability to deliver standards-based local, national and global Ethernet services that are seamless, with the same interoperability and performance features no matter the location.

The certification also validates Zayo’s ability to provide best-in-class Ethernet solutions that meet stringent operator-to-operator requirements. Zayo’s services include E-Line, Point-to-Point, Multipoint and E-LAN configurations. Zayo also offers Ethernet Private Dedicated Network (E-PDN) providing customers with dedicated fiber and equipment, and FlexConnect, a flexible, usage-based service.

As Carrier Ethernet has evolved, MEF has developed this new certification that it conducts in a third-party test lab, using more than 600 test cases based on MEF specifications.

“Achieving this certification underscores our commitment to provide the highest quality Ethernet service for our global customers,” said Tyler Coates, vice president, Ethernet at Zayo. “It demonstrates our ability to work with enterprises and other carriers in a cooperative fashion to deliver scalable, reliable next-generation Ethernet solutions.”
