In the midst of evolving to a ‘TV Everywhere’ market environment, third-party video publisher thePlatform announced a new suite of features that aims to better enable TV programmers of all stripes to manage, administer and securely deliver content via multiple service providers on multiple platforms.
In addition to enabling programmers to ‘authenticate’ subscribers–verifying that those accessing their websites to view programming are actually paying multichannel video subscribers–thePlatform’s solution reportedly enables providers to validate and authorize the playback of individual shows.
