WASHINGTON, Aug. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) recently won a task order from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) that was evaluated at $20 million over the next five years to provide Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services to GSA Region 8, the Rocky Mountain region.

CenturyLink will provide both hosted and premises-based VoIP solutions to GSA Region 8 offices throughout Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Utah.

This award was made under the competitive fair opportunity process of GSA’s Networx Enterprise contract. GSA’s Networx program is the largest telecommunications contract vehicle ever awarded by the federal government.
