The Connect Maryland Network Infrastructure Grant Program provides grants to local jurisdictions or their ISP partners to build new broadband networks to make service available in unserved households. Up to $95M will be awarded in the program for FY2023 Funding came through the U.S. Treasury Capital Projects Fund. The minimum grant request amount is $800,000. The maximum grant request amount is $4,500,000. The program will provide grants of between 70% and 90% of the capital construction. Matching funds are required. The program received $95 million from the Treasury Capital Projects Fund.
