WOW! Whole-Business WiFi now is available in most of the service provider’s footprint. The business WiFi service uses the eero mesh WiFi platform to blanket the customer’s premises with reliable coverage, the company says.
The system requires minimal IT support and offers features such as the ability to join the network via QR code scan. Custom installation is done by WOW!. The platform can be bundled with the service provider’s Business Internet services. A variety of options are available and the service starts at $20 per month
“After an overwhelmingly positive response for our roll out of WOW! Whole-Home WiFi last summer, we’re eager to introduce this solution for businesses, providing the fastest, most reliable, and most secure WiFi solution to businesses and their customers,” WOW! CEO Teresa Elder said in a press release. “WOW! Business customers will no longer experience slow zones – just WOW! zones, meaning less time troubleshooting, and more time to focus on their business.”
WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone is available in 19 markets, primarily in the midwest and southeast. States served include Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia.
WOW! has made a good bit of news during the past year or so:
- In December, it introduced Home Phone and Home Phone Plus, a residential phone service that costs $9.99 per month in conjunction with any WOW! Internet or television services.
- In August, the company was chosen to provide services to Town Madison in Alabama.
- Last March, WOW! said that it was offerings its 1-gigabit service to more than 95% of its base.
- In January, the service provider said that it began providing deep fiber-based gigabit services to customers in seven states. The areas are Augusta and West Point, Georgia; Charleston, S.C.; Chicago and Naperville, IL; Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Detroit; Panama City and Pinellas, Florida and Valley, AL.
