IP PhoneWindstream announced their IP powered Total Office and Dynamic Office products will be made available in Greensboro and Raleigh, North Carolina. Both products target the SMB and Enterprise markets with ‘converged communications services.’

Windstream is stepping up its SMB and Enterprise focus, both through acquisition and product development. Their recent purchase of NuVox demonstrates an expanding business focus strategy. They’ve also recently upgraded their business focused website, as well as expanded their product portfolio.

It’s a clear diversification strategy for them, as they hope to lessen their dependency on legacy residential voice services. Windstream CEO Jeff Gardner signaled this strategy recently, by recently announcing his intention to “…grow broadband and business revenues, which is important given the growth prospects in these areas,”
