HUNTSVILLE, Ala.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ADTRAN®, Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN), a leading provider of next-generation networking solutions, today announced that Wes-Tex Telephone Cooperative and Telecommunications, a residential and business service provider in Western Texas, has selected ADTRAN’s flagship product, the Total Access® 5000 Multi-Service Access and Aggregation Platform (MSAP) to deliver voice, data and video services over its Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network as part of a Broadband Stimulus award.

Wes-Tex selected the ADTRAN Total Access 5000 because it is proven as a delivery system for large deployments of voice, data and IPTV services in FTTH-based networks. Wes-Tex serves several thousand customers in nine counties in rural Western Texas which makes the quality, reliability, field experience, and growth potential of the Total Access 5000 key to a solid Fiber-to- the-Home network. The Total Access 5000 is a superior all Ethernet-based FTTH platform that delivers industry-leading broadband capacity and performance.
