Rye Brook, N.Y. (April 20, 2020) — Vyve Broadband announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the FamilyView Cablevision asset in and around Clemsen and Central (Pickens and Anderson Counties,) South Carolina.

“This is a very exciting time for FamilyView and I am happy that we found a company with the resources that can not only bring us faster broadband speeds, but one that shares the same commitment to the community,” said Larry Waterman, president and chief executive officer for FamilyView Cablevision.

This ‘tuck in’ acquisition will complement Vyve’s existing footprint in South Carolina.  Vyve currently provides high-speed internet, television and voice services to residential and business customers in rural markets across 16 states.

Upon close of the acquisition the FamilyView Cablevision system will be upgraded to deliver broadband speeds up to a Gig (1,000Mbps), which is consistent with the Company upgrade strategy across the country.   Vyve Broadband is focused on creating unequaled broadband speeds and per Phil Spencer, chief executive officer, Vyve Broadband “We are very excited to have FamilyView become part of the greater Vyve organization.”
