Road Runner MobileTime Warner Cable (TWC) announced the launch of Road Runner Mobile, their WiMAX powered mobile broadband service back in October.  They initially focused on markets in North Carolina, including Charlotte. BroadbandReports.com points our attention to their latest Road Runner Mobile launch in Dallas.

PegasusNews.com reports that Road Runner Mobile will launch December 1st in the big D. “With Time Warner Cable’s 4G Mobile Network, we now offer the fastest mobile data service available,” Barry Rosenblum, executive vice president of the Texas Region for Time Warner Cable tells PegasusNews.com.

Like Comcast, Time Warner Cable is reselling Clearwire WiMAX service under its own brand. In their initial market launch, TWC WiMAX packages started at $49.95/month, with a number of discounts based on bundled packages. They also offer a nationwide plan which roams on Sprint’s 3G networl for $79.95/month, again with bundled discounts.
