Press Release

RWA today announced that its members would join forces at CTIA Super Mobility 2015, September 9, 10 & 11 in Las Vegas. The strategic partnership underscores the importance of urban and rural carriers working together to meet consumer demand for mobile technology, according to the leadership of both associations.

RWA will host a Rural Wireless Summit September 9, 10 & 11, kicking off with a reception in the Rural Wireless Pavilion and Lounge on the trade show floor, including educational sessions on September 10 and 11. RWA leaders say the Summit and Lounge will present a meaningful opportunity for show attendees and members to network among the carriers and vendors paving the way for mobility solutions.

“We’re very pleased to host this educational and networking opportunity for RWA members in a setting that offers a diverse array of information to support rural mobility” said Tanya Sullivan, RWA’s CEO. “RWA’s mission is to advocate, educate and participate in the forums that support rural mobility. The Rural Wireless Pavilion and Lounge will serve as an excellent destination for everyone to learn more about mobility in rural areas. We are honored to work with like-minded organizations such as CTIA and join such a comprehensive industry event to keep rural America’s consumers connected.”

“Rural carriers are a critical part of the mobile ecosystem, which is why this partnership with RWA will be an important component of the CTIA Super Mobility 2015 educational experience. We look forward to working with RWA and its members,” said CTIA vice president of operations, Robert Mesirow.
