As a Verizon customer, I was interested to read the news about the three-year price lock they announced this week (see below). As a CenturyLink price-for-life customer — who, I confess, often complains about his lackluster connection — I’m always interested at the promotions and offers companies introduce to try to sway new customers and retain existing ones. My only loyalty to CenturyLink is the loyalty I feel to the idea of paying $55 for internet every month. Is that really loyalty?
