TDS announced they are entering Oklahoma with their hosted IP services product, managedIP. The SMB targeted cloud based product provides hosted voice services bundled with high speed Internet on a single IP connection.

TDS is bringing managedIP to their Choctaw and Jones markets, the first TDS Oklahoma markets to see the managedIP product. Oklahoma now joins other TDS managedIP markets in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin.

TDS hosts managedIP in a private cloud environment, using Polycom High Definition VoIP phones over a Cisco powered data network. As of the end of the second quarter 2011, TDS reports 35,300 managedIP stations across their entire footprint. A TDS spokeswoman declined to reveal ARPU for the hosted voice product.
