Metronet Fiber reached its first million locations 17 years after its founding. It took two more years to reach two million, and then just over a year to surpass three million.

Metronet network construction is either in progress or complete in more than 40 Michigan communities, including Lansing, Grand Rapids and Portage.

Before the US Internet deal was announced, KKR and T-Mobile completed an acquisition of Metronet in late July.

Tulsa marks the second Metronet community in Oklahoma, as they began construction in Broken Arrow in August and launched fiber service there in February.

Metronet will offer symmetrical service up to 5 Gbps to residential customers and up to 10 Gbps to businesses.

The Metronet’s network will provide Bolingbrook residents and businesses with symmetrical upload and download speeds suitable for streaming, gaming, and remote work.
