Lyte Fiber, which is based in Houston, Texas, said that it will invest more than $11 million in the projects and deploy 900 miles of fiber.

This funding will be used to improve broadband service for 881 Oregon locations and help with projects in two counties.

Six New York broadband awards will go to counties and cities, who will own the fiber and fixed wireless infrastructure deployed.

Verizon won broadband funding for the Rhode Island communities of Jamestown ($2,071,245) and Westerly ($1,564,635).
