(BUSINESS WIRE), December 17, 2010 – If you’re stuck at the mall doing some last-minute shopping or need a break from the annual office party this holiday season, Sprint can help by delivering your college football fix. Sprint (NYSE: S) will carry the live stream of 30 college football bowl games broadcast by ESPN, highlighted by the entire Bowl Championship Series, which will be available for the first time to Sprint customers on ESPN Mobile TV.

The live game telecasts will be accessible on Sprint handsets through the ESPN Mobile TV channel on Sprint TV®, or through the Sprint Football Live app in the “College Football” section. With Sprint 4G and using one of Sprint’s award-winning 4G phones – the HTC EVOTM 4G or the Samsung EpicTM 4G – fans can experience the excitement of live game viewing wherever they may be this holiday season.

Sprint Football Live will include game centers for all 35 bowl games with game previews and recaps, score updates, real-time play-by-play, text alerts and updated player statistics. An additional “Awards” section has been added detailing season awards such as the Heisman, AP All-America team and other positional awards.

The schedule begins with an ESPN tripleheader on Saturday, Dec. 18: the New Mexico Bowl (BYU vs. UTEP) at 2 p.m. ET, the uDrove Humanitarian Bowl (Northern Illinois vs. Fresno State) at 5:30 p.m., and the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl (Ohio vs. Troy) at 9 p.m. The bowl schedule concludes with the Tostitos BCS National Championship Game (Auburn vs. Oregon) on Jan. 10 at 8:30 p.m.
