Sling TV is celebrating its second anniversary with some promotions, including a Sling TV free preview. In a blog post, Sling TV CEO Roger Lynch recounted the organization’s growth and development.
Offering live TV programming and content via the Internet at a starting price of $20 a month, Sling TV started out with one base service, three extras and just over 25 channels upon launching in Feb. 2015. Today, that has grown to two base services, seven extras, three premium channels and well over 100 standard channels, as well as more than 30,000 VOD titles, according to Lynch.
Management is doling out some gifts throughout February in celebration of the company’s second birthday, as well.
