I’m a little confused about the technology at work here, but I do wish local governments would spend more time thinking about free, wireless internet access for everyone, at least in certain places if not citywide. The internet is becoming a necessity in everyday life, and we are indeed moving towards a paperless society, so I think there’s a real collective public benefit from everyone being easily connected.
