Optimum plans $40M investment to expand to Woodbridge, Clark, and Linden, New Jersey

NEW JERSEY (DECEMBER 15, 2025) – Optimum today announces it is launching its award-winning 100% fiber-to-the-home network to communities across Woodbridge, Clark, and Linden New Jersey, enabling thousands of residents and businesses to now enjoy Optimum’s Fiber Internet, Mobile, TV, and phone services for the very first time. The company also plans to extend its services soon to Winfield, Rahway, and Roselle communities. Additionally, Optimum announces the planned deployment of its fiber network in Carteret and Perth Amboy, with the company expected to begin providing services in these areas by Spring 2026.

With Optimum’s $40M investment to expand its connectivity services across New Jersey, residents and businesses in towns, including Woodbridge, Clark, Linden, and more can benefit from the fastest and most reliable internet speeds in the state – a title awarded by Ookla® Speedtest®. In today’s highly connected world, speeds matter. A study by Optimum illustrates that connectivity is central to our daily lives, with the amount of time that consumers spend online continuing to increase. One-third of Americans have increased their internet usage in the last year – averaging more than 10 hours online a day. That’s 41% of their day connected to the internet.2

“As Optimum offers its 100% Fiber Internet Network to more communities across New Jersey, we are proud to invest in the future of this vibrant state,” said Elton Hart, Vice President, General Manager of Optimum Tri-State. “Our commitment goes beyond delivering the fastest, most reliable internet; it’s about empowering local residents and businesses with the technology and support they need to thrive, today and for years to come. We look forward to being a true partner to more New Jersey communities as we continue expanding connectivity and fostering positive change throughout the Garden State.”

“Woodbridge Township welcomes Optimum’s fiber internet investment to the community offering our residents and businesses the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art connectivity options.  The company’s significant investments signal greater economic growth, educational opportunities, and innovation to our Ten Towns.  We appreciate Optimum’s commitment to supporting our community’s future and look forward to partnering with the company to make a positive impact on Woodbridge and the greater Central New Jersey region,” said Woodbridge Township Mayor John E. McCormac.
