HIGH POINT, N.C., July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — North State, a fiber-based Internet and cloud service provider, is now optimized for Netflix. Through a direct connection, North State customers will receive the best possible Netflix video streaming experience.
North State offering best possible Netflix experience through direct connection North State has directly connected its network to the Netflix Open Connect content delivery network (CDN), optimizing the Netflix experience for North State Internet customers. This means that customers can expect a better picture quality and faster startup times, including many titles in full 1080p high definition and a small, but growing, selection of titles in Ultra HD 4k.
“Rather than have the Netflix experience go through regional or national networks, North State Internet customers now have a direct connection to Netflix content that ensures superior viewing and more extensive content,” said Royster Tucker III, North State’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Additionally, the combination of Netflix Open Connect with North State’s fiber-to-the-home Internet services provides an optimum viewing experience.”
North State offers Internet, digital voice and high definition television services all on its next-generation fiber-optic network. For more information on North State or the evolution of fiber in the Triad, please visit northstate.net/fiber.
