DALLAS and ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — AT&T and Starz Entertainment, LLC, announced today that the companies agreed to a multi-platform, multi-year extension of the Starz-AT&T U-verse® TV affiliation agreement.  The extension covers Starz Entertainment’s premium channels, HD, on-demand, and authenticated online services.

AT&T U-verse TV subscribers enjoy currently 19 Starz Entertainment premium channels and feeds; all 14 distinct STARZ and ENCORE channels (including ENCORE ESPANOL), West Coast feeds of the flagship STARZ and ENCORE channels, plus INDIEPLEX, RETROPLEX, and the recently launched MOVIEPLEX.

The agreement also extends AT&T U-verse’s offering of the STARZ ONLINE, ENCORE ONLINE, and newly launched MOVIEPLEX ONLINE authenticated online advanced services for AT&T subscribers to enjoy great premium movie and original content on PCs, Macs, tablets and portable devices via U-verse TV, U-verse Online, U-verse Tablet and U-verse Mobile.

Starz Entertainment HD on-demand services for U-verse TV subscribers are five distinct HD channels, including STARZ HD, STARZ KIDS & FAMILY HD, STARZ COMEDY HD, STARZ EDGE HD, and ENCORE HD, an additional STARZ HD (West) feed, and the STARZ ON DEMAND, ENCORE ON DEMAND, MOVIEPLEX ON DEMAND, STARZ HD ON DEMAND, ENCORE HD ON DEMAND, MOVIEPLEX HD ON DEMAND, and STARZ 3D ON DEMAND services.

Financial terms and other deal specifics were not disclosed.
