Midco has launched Midco Mobile, designed to be a complementary service to the company’s fiber internet, MidcoTV, landline phone, and wholesale services.
The new service offers a pair of price plans: $15 per month for Flex, a by‑the‑gig plan, and $30 for Unlimited, which features unlimited talk, text, and data.
The service is designed to work seamlessly with other Midco services. Customers can bring their own compatible device or purchase a new one through Midco’s integrated online store.
“Midco Mobile reflects our focus on delivering straightforward solutions that customers can trust,” Midco President and Chief Operating Officer Ben Dold said in the company’s announcement. “By adding mobile service to our portfolio, we’re giving customers the option to bring all their essential connectivity services together under one respected, local provider.”
Midco is offering mobile service as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). The company announced its plan for the wireless service a little more than a year ago. A representative from Midco told Telecompetitor, “Midco Mobile will provide customers access to a trusted, nationwide 5G network that our network engineers extensively researched to ensure the best possible experience.”
The same Midco representative told Telecompetitor that their contract does not allow them to disclose which network the new service uses.
When the service was first announced, Midco President and Chief Operating Officer Ben Dold said, “We are thrilled to begin a new chapter in Midco history as we prepare to deliver premier mobile services to our customers with Telgoo5 and BlueConnects… With the announcement of these new relationships, we’re telling our customers: We hear you, we want to continue to serve you and Midco Mobile is on track for a 2025 launch.”
The 2025 launch became a 2026 launch, and Midco Mobile is now available.
