March 09, 2020 — EVANSVILLE, Ind.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–MetroNet Holdings, LLC, the parent company of MetroNet, a 100% fiber optic communications provider, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Jaguar Communications (“Jaguar”). Based in Owatonna, Minnesota, Jaguar has an extensive fiber network throughout Southern Minnesota that serves both residential and commercial customers with fiber-based voice, video and high speed broadband services.

The transaction is expected to close in the coming months after regulatory approval. Additional information will be released following that approval.
