Kansas City, Mo. (July 19, 2022) — Garrett Wiseman, Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Mercury Broadband announced today the company has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Calix, Inc., to serve as a primary technology provider for the company’s development strategy for both their Mercury@Home and Mercury@Work broadband Internet service platforms.

As part of Mercury Broadband’s growth plan, the company has recently launched their new enhanced broadband services for both residential and small business customers. Mercury@Home was launched in January of 2022, and Mercury@Work was launched in May. Both services provide customers with a “Smarter Internet” experience, leveraging Calix platforms and systems to provide a managed Wi-Fi capability, smartphone applications to monitor and control how they use their Internet connection, and a much more robust, overall Internet experience. Mercury leverages the complete Calix Revenue EDGE™ platform—including the GigaSpire® BLAST systems, Calix Marketing Cloud, Calix Support Cloud, and the customizable CommandIQ® mobile app. This makes it easy for Mercury Broadband to take their customer experience to the next level by offering turnkey managed services, ProtectIQ® (home network security) and ExperienceIQ® (advanced parental controls) on top of their managed Wi-Fi offering.

Both Mercury@Home and Mercury@Work provide customers with a high-speed reliable Internet connection, free use of a Calix GigaSpire BLAST 6 Wi-Fi system, access to the Mercury mobile app, built on CommandIQ, and access to enhanced managed services like ProtectIQ and ExperienceIQ.

Mercury Broadband will continue to partner with Calix to leverage additional Calix technology enhancements to extend both Mercury@Home and Mercury@Work service capabilities. The power of the full Revenue EDGE platform, including the ecosystem of services in Calix Revenue EDGE Suites, makes it easy for Mercury Broadband to meet the evolving needs of its customers with managed services. Today it is home network cybersecurity and advanced parental controls. In the future, additional planned enhancements include broadband-enabled security and home monitoring, smart home management, and additional management of other Internet home and office devices and applications.
