(“Lumos Networks”) (NASDAQ: LMOS), a leading fiber-based service provider in the mid-Atlantic region, is now offering Gigabit FAST residential fiber service for $69.95 on a two year promotion to eligible consumers within its RLEC fiber footprint.
This Gigabit FAST service offers internet speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second (or 1,000 Mbps). Gigabit speeds are available to 100% of all residences passed by Lumos fiber in its entire RLEC footprint. Along with this offering, Lumos Networks is also performing a broadband speed increase to its middle speed profiles by moving existing fiber internet customers from 50 Mbps to 75 Mbps and 100 Mbps to 150 Mbps for improved performance.
