April 9, 2012 — Waynesboro, Va. – Lumos Networks (NASDAQ: LMOS), a leading provider of fiber-based products across the Mid-Atlantic region, announced the addition of three members to their southwestern Pennsylvania sales team. Jeff Yurchak, Major Account Manager, will serve Washington, Canonsburg and nearby cities. Dave Alley, Account Executive, will serve Altoona and Greensburg. Carl Wooloff, Account Executive, will serve Uniontown and Johnstown.

“As Lumos Networks expands into the southwestern Pennsylvania territory, the additions to our sales team will strengthen our ability to meet the needs of our customers,” said Ian Ciemania, Director of Sales. “We are pleased to welcome Jeff, Dave and Carl and look forward to their contributions in satisfying communication needs in this market area.”

Prior to joining Lumos Networks, Mr. Yurchak was most recently Account Executive at Sprint Nextel. Mr. Yurchak has been professionally serving Pennsylvania telecommunications customers for over 13 years in various industry positions. These include: Major Account Executive at VoIP Innovations, Account Executive at Penntelecom Communications and Branch Manager at MCI WorldCom Telecommunications.

Mr. Alley’s unique educational experiences encompass a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine at Machias and a Master of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary. Prior to his current position with Lumos Networks, Mr. Alley found his enthusiasm for the telecommunications industry in 2006 as Senior Communications Consultant at FiberNet LLC and as Managed Services Specialist at FiberNet of West Virginia.

Moving to the United States in 2010 from London, England, Mr. Wooloff has brought telecommunications industry experiences from his positions abroad. Mr. Wooloff delivered innovative ICT services and solutions as Senior Account Manager at Kelway UK Ltd.

Comprehensive understanding of the industry originated from Mr. Wooloff’s position as Account Manager at Computacenter, Europe’s leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services.
