Press Release

Houston, TX – October 12, 2022 – Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) is partnering with CHR Solutions and Omnia 360™ to help manage its fourth utility, fiber broadband, as it brings high-speed internet, television, and phone services to more than 210,000 customers within its electric service territory over the next seven years.

“As leaders in the fiber communications industry, CHR Solutions is well-positioned to help KUB focus and extend its reach to customers in a meaningful way,” says Kevin Kutcher, Vice President of Marketing at CHR Solutions. “Additionally, there’s a deep synergy with KUB in our outlooks that we feel makes it easy for both companies to view each other as long term partners.”

Designed by CHR Solutions to offer telecommunications providers everything they need to run their fiber business, Omnia360 is a powerful OSS/BSS (operations support system/business support system) solution that’s fully scalable to residential, business, and enterprise systems.

“We’ve provided KUB with our complete Omnia360 solution, including CRM,” continues Kutcher. “This offers a high level of service automation to help drive a seamless KUB customer experience, which, in the end, is one of the most important parts of what we’re trying to achieve—helping customers access fiber broadband in the most effective and seamless way possible.”

New customers have already started to access 1 Gig fiber broadband service from KUB as of September 1st, 2022.
