IQ Fiber, officially launched in September 2021 with the closing of its initial private equity funding, is a new residential fiber-optic internet provider with plans to serve over 60,000 homes across Northeast Florida in the first phase of its infrastructure deployment.
IQ Fiber is currently finalizing its network plans and will soon launch infrastructure projects across North Florida. IQ Fiber will bring high-speed, state-of-the-art 100% fiber-optic network internet to areas of Northeast Florida that do not currently have access to modern, symmetrical broadband services. In addition, IQ Fiber is hiring local management, field and support staff.
Fiber to the home represents the state-of-the-art for the delivery of broadband services, yet it is accessible to only 36% of the U.S. population. Compounding the consumer challenge approximately 83 million Americans can access broadband only through a single provider. IQ Fiber will be a high-quality choice for many Northeast Florida residents with simple, no-hassle plans supported by local experts.
IQ Fiber will offer simple month-to-month rates with no hidden fees, surcharges or surprise price increases. IQ Fiber’s three service plans will deliver symmetrical internet speeds between 250 and 1,000 Mbps, uploads and downloads at gigabyte speed and whole-home Wi-Fi service.
