Huawei Speaks at Inaugural 2014 BroadbandVision Show

PLANO, Texas, Sept. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced it will speak at the inaugural 2014 BroadbandVision Show held in Las Vegas on October 1-3.

Bill Gerski, Vice President of Sales for Huawei Technologies USA, will be speaking on a session titled, “Competing With Conglomerates: Implications of the Megamergers,” on Wednesday, October 1 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. PT at the Caesars Palace Hotel. Mr. Gerski’s session will focus on how smaller providers should compete in a potential new marketplace with two new dominant players. The panel of industry experts will debate and discuss competitive implications and strategies for smaller regional and locally focused service providers.

“Over the last few years, Huawei has made huge strides in technology innovation and continues to grow in the U.S. marketplace. We look forward to supporting Rural Telcos, no matter which direction they take,” said Gerski. “Huawei’s end-to-end all-IP solutions portfolio allows Rural Telcos to reduce operating expenses and quickly and cost-effectively introduce new technologies and revenue-generating services, covering everything from devices to data centers to gigabit delivery to the end user.”

Huawei is exhibiting at Booth #112 at the inaugural 2014 BroadbandVision Show held in Las Vegas on October 1-3, 2014.
