frontierFrontier Secure Computer Security Pro and Mobile Security Pro, announced today by Frontier Communications, are two more examples of a couple of opportunities that are key focus areas for the company. The company has been expanding its security offerings through partnerships such as the one with F-Secure that underlies Frontier Secure Computer Security Pro and Mobile Security Pro. And as with some other recent Frontier launches, the offerings will be available nationwide, enabling the company to tap customers beyond its traditional local service territory.

In an interview Frontier Secure  Director of Programs Brent Heilman said the company will be more aggressive on nationwide marketing of the new offerings beginning in July. “We will have more Web presence and [begin] serious pushing out of territory” on this and other products the company offers nationwide, he said.

Targeting SMBs
Small and medium size businesses are the target market for Frontier’s new offerings, which are designed to protect computers and mobile devices from cyber threats. Frontier Secure Computer Security Pro works with PCs and Macs, while Mobile Security Pro works with Android OS-based mobile devices.
