Frontier and Yahoo! announced an extension of their relationship, in which Yahoo! powers Frontier’s email and web portal start page. The agreement covers Frontier’s 27 state footprint. Frontier and Yahoo! first came together in 2008.

“Our customers want access to the most complete suite of communication and digital content services available, and Yahoo!, with its superior package of easy-to-use features, was the logical partner,” said Melinda White, Frontier’s executive vice president, Revenue Development in a press release.

In addition to a Frontier-Yahoo! Branded email experience, Frontier customers gain access to a co-branded start page, Toolbar, and Search bars.

Frontier has been active in partnering with Internet media companies for a digital content strategy. In addition to this Yahoo! delivered content, their myfitv web video portal features content from Hulu and other web video firms.
