(NASHVILLE, TN) June 28, 2016—Today, Equinox Information Systems announced that Midco, recognized as one of the fastest internet service providers in America, has deployed the TeleLink application. Equinox first became a solutions provider to Midco in late 2014 when the company selected the Protector fraud management solution (FMS) from Equinox. Based on the positive results achieved from that product combined with the knowledgeable, responsive support from Equinox, Midco turned to them as part of a project initiative to further improve their mediation processes. The regional carrier’s large customer base and coverage area meant they needed to mediate records in varying formats from multiple different switches in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
“Our work with Equinox on the FMS project has given us complete confidence in their team and products,” said Andi Livingston, Telecommunications Revenue Analyst from Midco. “Only one day after initial system training, I have already used TeleLink to determine rerouting of traffic to potentially save Midco money. It took me only 5 minutes to set up the reporting template and generate these results versus hours and hours of manual manipulation.”
Midco is currently using the TeleLink platform from Equinox to mediate and filter records for delivery to end user billing systems, CABS, and other downstream operational support systems. As part of its mediation features, TeleLink extracts, standardizes, enriches, and stores the company’s usage data, allowing Midco to generate extensive ad hoc reports of network activity. Such reports provide valuable insight to real-time data and historical trends, that when analyzed, offer many revenue assurance and cost management benefits.
“We take great pride in earning our customers’ trust,” explained David West, Executive Vice President of Equinox Information Systems. “Our ability to fully understand and meet a customer’s needs is clearly demonstrated when they consult us to address another business assurance challenge. We are grateful for the continued opportunity to serve Midco.”
