Clearwire announced the launch of their broadband wireless and VoIP services in Rochester, NY. Clearwire will offer broadband wireless for the home and portable broadband utilizing laptop cards. Clearwire also offers a VoIP powered phone service. Clearwire will offer service for free for the first three months (with a two year contract), and prices range from $29.99 to $79.99 per month, depending on which services are selected.
