Updated Friday, July 17: California’s final BEAD proposal was approved by the NTIA. 49 states have now had their final proposals approved.

The NTIA approved BEAD proposals for Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Wednesday, December 3: We added California to our list of BEAD provisional awards. All 50 states have now announced provisional awards.

This comprehensive update details, as far as possible, the BEAD Benefit of the Bargain funding round for each state.

The recent grants were made by The New Jersey Broadband Infrastructure Deployment Equity (NJBIDE) Pilot Program.

New Jersey broadband BEAD funding will total over $263M. Providers will apply based on project area building blocks (PABBs) or sets of PABBs.
