Las Vegas, Nevada—October 3, 2014—Today NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association, ITTA – the Voice of Mid-Size Carriers, and Telecompetitor announced the winners of the inaugural BroadbandVision Impact Awards  at BroadbandVision, held October 1-3, 2014, at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The BroadbandVision Impact Awards honored companies that are developing new services, technologies or applications that will change the way telcos, cable providers, wireless Internet companies, utilities and municipalities are able to deliver broadband services.

The following industry leading companies were awarded with a 2014 BroadbandVision Impact Award:

  • BroadbandVision Impact Service Provider of the Year: GVTC
  • BroadbandVision Broadband Impact Product of the Year:  CN3200 in the xMax WRAN family, xG Technology
  • BroadbandVision Cloud Services Impact Product of the Year: ANPI VIP, ANPI

“We were overwhelmed by the number of truly innovative technologies that were showcased in the submissions we received. With broadband playing a central role in how we are able to communicate, work and play, companies are working to stay ahead of the trend by developing innovative products and services to ensure the best broadband experience for their customers,” said Bernie Arnason, chair of BroadbandVision. “We congratulate the winners of the inaugural Broadband Impact Awards as they have proven to successfully represent the best practices in the broadband ecosystem.”
