Nevada’s Low-Income Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU) Broadband Program is a competitive grant program designed to fund broadband infrastructure to and within low-income housing. CPF funds will be used to upgrade internet access in MDUs. The program received $55.2M from the federal Capital Projects Fund.

The Nevada Middle Mile Program is a new initiative directly implemented by Nevada’s Office of Science, Innovation, and Technology (OSIT) to invest CPF funds in middle-mile broadband infrastructure in order to expand access to reliable broadband service to rural areas of the state and increase the number of new and improved last-mile connections with affordable internet. The program received $73.7M through the federal Capital Projects Fund.
