About

The Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program – most often called “BEAD” – is the largest single investment in high-speed internet infrastructure in our nation’s history and is administered by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). While BEAD is a national program, each state and territory will be implementing BEAD in their own way within the federal guidelines of the program.
