Blue Stream Fiber Expands Presence in Orlando

Orlando, Florida – April 25, 2023 – Blue Stream Fiber, Florida’s fastest-growing fiber-optic telecommunications provider, announced its partnership with the community of Solivita in Kissimmee, FL to bring over 10,000 residents advanced broadband, television, and voice products over 100% gigabit-capable networks.

“We understand the role our services play in residents’ day-to-day, which is why we build long-lasting partnerships with HOAs to solve the real challenges for residents,” said Joe Canavan, CEO of Blue Stream Fiber. “Solivita is a natural match for us because they’re looking to provide their residents with a reliable fiber network, unmatched in-home WiFi coverage, and excellent customer service from a local team that truly cares.”

Sitting on over 4,300 acres with greenspaces, lakes, and waterways, Solivita ranks among Florida’s top retirement communities, as well as one of the largest to partner with Blue Stream Fiber. As part of its agreement with the community, Blue Stream Fiber will not only equip homes with Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology but many of the community’s common areas as well. This will allow residents and their guests to easily stream their favorite movies, play online games, and work from various parts of the neighborhood without any lag or buffering.

“With Blue Stream Fiber we were able to expand the array of services we provide to all homeowners, while greatly improving the technology resulting in faster, more reliable services at reduced costs,” said Bob Monica, Chair of the Solivita Cable TV & Internet Services Search Committee. “After assessing several provider options, we were impressed with Blue Stream Fiber’s focus on top-level technology and found their commitment to customer service refreshing and a real deciding factor.”

In addition to providing top-quality telecom services, Blue Stream Fiber’s partnership with Solivita is also expected to increase property values within the community. According to recent studies, communities with access to fiber-optic technology can see a significant increase in their property values.

Blue Stream Fiber has already initiated the fiber construction process to prepare for the activation of its services throughout the community in April 2024.
