Atlantic Broadband is now Breezeline

Atlantic Broadband, the nation’s eighth-largest cable operator, is rebranding itself as Breezeline, the company announced today.

The rebranding comes following the recent purchase of cable systems in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio in September 2021, expanding the company’s reach to more than 1.6 million businesses and households across a wider region of the country than the Atlantic name reference states.

The company’s upcoming plans include the launch of Breezeline Stream TV, a cloud-based, web-powered video experience allowing customers to access live and recorded programs on the compatible device of their choice. The streaming TV service will begin in select Breezeline markets early this year, with additional markets being added throughout 2022.

Breezeline has also launched a series of new customer care initiatives, including enhanced self-service options, a new online experience and simplified pricing. A new customer app and other products and services are planned for release early in 2022.

“We’re no longer just an east coast provider, and we’ve long offered much more than broadband, so our company identity must evolve with us,” Frank van der Post, president of Breezeline, said in a prepared statement. “The name Breezeline marks the beginning of a new, exciting era of transforming our company through new growth, while also elevating the customer experience through enhanced customer care options, innovative products, and investment in the latest technologies.”

“The Breezeline name was chosen to convey our commitment to providing easy access to connected experiences for our customers,” added Julie Sullivan, vice president of Breezeline. “The Breezeline logo, a five-point pinwheel, represents our customers and the communities we serve, the innovation and services that enrich customers’ lives, and the elevated experiences we strive to provide in a seamlessly connected world. The pinwheel also implies motion – symbolic of both high-speed connectivity and the ease with which customers can interact with our company and services.”

Last May, Atlantic Broadband expanded in Virginia via a public-private partnership as part a major fiber expansion initiative that will extend connectivity to more than 70,000 additional homes and businesses in New Hampshire and West Virginia via ultra-fast Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology.

  1. your customer service SUCKS ive been trying to talk to someone all morning my phone 814 -410-3554 larry call me please

    1. They are only good at over charging. I signed up for internet and it was supposed to be $49 for six months. They started charging me $79.99 from the get go and I cannot reach anyone.

    2. Totally, been waiting for over 60 min on the phone and 40 min. via chat (says 15-20 min. wait)
I hope this is not their business model!

  2. I agree with Larry above, you customer service sucks, you can hang on the line all day and never talk to a real human being…….and the choice of music in your ear leaves a lot to be desired…….I contacted the FCC to see why they allow these companies to constantly enlarge and buy out smaller companies when then can not even effectively service the customers they have now!!!!!

    1. It doesn’t matter who Atlantic Broadband partners with, their service is absolute trash. They are doing everything they can to NOT upgrade the infrastructure. This just means you’re going to spread your trash even further.

    1. I have no idea how to use my email since this atlanticbb/breezeline change. No efforts to reach breezeline have worked. The wait times for phone and chats for customer support with breezeline are bogus. Now all of my email contacts are gone. I must get an email account with some other entity and start all over. Atlanticbb wait times were eternity as it was. Atlanticbb had us over a barrel and they abused their power of customer communication and customer prices.
      what a mess

      what a mess this is

  3. Have to agree my wait time to speak to someone about an outage is 50 to 55 mins. 20 mins into my wait my time is 55-57 minutes WTH. I just want my damn internet fixed.

  4. Tried calling customer service. The automated system told me that my phone number wasn’t associated with a account here. So does this mean I don’t owe a bill? I paid my bill for my internet and now suddenly my internet doesn’t work. Not a great way to keep customers.

  5. Horrible.
I just realized my bill went from $65 to $102. No word said or email sent.
Over 1-hour wait to talk to someone in billing (who can’t help me) so I’m on hold again (20 min so far) to speak to retention.
Unreal. Customers are always wrong these days.
I’ll cancel if they don’t reduce the bill substantially.

  6. I agree with all of the above comments. I’m still having trouble with my Wi-Fi and Email and password. I also waited for a human to answer and nobody did.
    PLEASE HELP !!!!⁸

  7. I agree with all of the above comments. I also have to get a different email, and password. I can’t even change my password or my email address. And when I do change them, they do not work. It says “email and or password do not match. UNHAPPY costumer. PLEASE HELP! Q

  8. Been on hold for 20 minutes and for the whole time the “wait” time has been 34-36 minutes. All I need is the account number for returning equipment; to get the account number online you have to set up an account; to set up an account you need the account number. Catch 22 for sure. Agree, the music is awful.

    1. That is exactly what is happening to me. I don’t even know what my bill is because it is all electronic and I don’t know my account number so I can’t even look it up.

  9. i cant access my email and you cant even talk to a person, the instructions to reset password sucks.
this isnt good business and when you get to someone its a 90 minute hold

  10. I’ve been waiting online at least an hour with the recording saying I have 15-20 mins to go … then wondering what will happen??? Like many before me, I just want to know how to change my email from atlanticbb.net to breezeline.net. I certainly hope that both will work for some time as I have many, many contacts (including billers and physicians) who I will have to contact to change my email address. I cannot afford to lose ANY of my contacts at any point!!! There is usually a transitional time before one is JUST SWITCHED from one email to a new one. This was not my choice, it was YOURS. Please help you customers adjust; so far Breezeline is not impressing me much at this point. I called the help line at atlanticbb.net about 2 weeks ago and at least they let me leave my telephone # and they called back and were very helpful and answered my questions adequately!! Come on Breezeline – don’t disappoint. I’ve had atlanticbb.net for years and were pleased with them!

  11. They dropped Newsmax and lied about why they did. If it was up to me, it isn’t, I would drop them in a minute.

  12. Hello, do we have to pay our bill or is it automatically going to be taken out like always?? Maybe try answering your dam phone with all these teleworkers that are at home !! This is bull crap, I internet don’t work for poop!! Garbage

  13. Breezeline Sucks. You can no longer get basic cable. You have no choice but to bundle internet and TV if you want TV. My mother is 85 years old and has zero (0) need of the interwebz. Now she’s tickled pink she gets 21 over the air channels For Free. Suck It Breezeline.

  14. Breezeline and formerly Atlantic Broadband suck. Worst customer service ever. I cannot believe they are allowed to continue this predatory pricing and monopolistic practice coupled with shocking service. Days of my wife’s life lost on hold. Truly terrible. No viable options sadly. Just the worst. I am sickened by it.

  15. I’ve waited 126 minutes, then the internet went down, and when it came back I had to start over.
I can’t get into my medical office/ doctor’s email and when I called their service department they helped me try a couple things, like checking my email address, it was OK . Then checked the password, it was not accepted. The medical/doctor service tech said they can’t help me further and that Atlanticbb is their worst problem.
My laptop can’t communicate with my printer now. And I’m getting about 20 a day of scam emails.\

My t.v. screen breaks up frequently while I’m watching a program (started about a month ago), I suppose about the time the change to Breezeline happened. So what do I have to do to get a service tech to come to my residence to fix the t.v.? The wait when it was atlanticbb was unreal, now it is xxxxxxxxbleep!
Better Business Bureau doesn’t seem to be able to help. I’m going to try my congressmen next.

  16. no way to contact this breezeline company. I will be canceling this service. or in other words, HEY BREEZELINE YOU ARE FIRED. over and out. you guys suck.
