PHILADELPHIA, PA – May 23, 2013 – Alteva, a premier provider of hosted Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), announces industry leading enhancements to the call recording component of Alteva Archive, a solution that helps organizations drive efficiency, automation and distributed workforce management. Alteva Archive includes call recording, email and instant message archiving in secure, authenticating cloud storage. Alteva Archive allows for administrative-only access or both administrative and employee access. The entire Alteva Archive solution is in compliance with both the SEC and FINRA, and all data collected is admissible in court.
The improved call recording platform includes an upgraded user interface that incorporates an intuitive dashboard format. This dashboard summarizes information and performs annotation, which offers the ability to add electronic markers in recorded calls. It also provides auto-alerts and advanced search functionality.
Alteva Archive service differs from other common hosted call recording solutions based on its unique packet routing technology that determines the proper calls to be recorded. In addition to a further streamlined user interface and CRM integration, Altevas fully redundant platform and overall service architecture allows for flexible scaling and security.
This easy-to-use solution enables management to use recorded calls as training tools to dramatically improve customer service quality, states Mike Timar, Vice President Product Management at Alteva.
Other Alteva Archive call recording benefits to end users include:
- Convenience: Easy-to-use web interface, filters, descriptions and comment annotation provides users with tools to quickly find recorded calls.
- Accessibility: Recorded calls are viewed and accessed via standard web browsers and media players. Any user with a broadband internet connection and a media player can view and listen to recorded calls or calls in progress.
- Security: Recorded calls required for legal, regulatory or compliance purposes can be easily transferred from the Alteva Archive IP system to the users system individually or in batches.
- Privacy: Tenant administration selects extensions for recording, thus allowing the end user to control recording of sensitive extensions or information. Recorded calls are available to system users on a permissions basis as assigned by the tenant administrator. This is in compliance with FINRA and SEC requirements, and is admissible in court.
