Alltel and mywaves announced the availability of mywaves on Alltel wireless handsets. Mywaves allows customers to browse thousands of “Web videos” and watch them from their phone. Alltel will charge $3.99 per month for the service. Mywaves runs on handsets which utilize the Qualcomm Brew platform.
