AdvaTel, a developer of software-based IP telephony consoles (PhoneEasy IP Console) and desktop IP telephony plug-ins, announced that the PhoneEasy IP Console has been tested and passed Metaswitch Networks accreditation for the Metaswitch Networks switch release 7.4 and the Perimeta Session Border Controller (SBC).
The PhoneEasy IP Console includes support for voice, text messaging, e-mail and Outlook calendar mining.
As carriers offer more hosted PBX functionality to their end users it is important to have a
compatible, fully featured soft console to complement their totally hosted market offering, AdvaTel says.
The PhoneEasy product includes a softphone, which has several accredited compatibilities with popular headsets and USB phones.
